Fast-food workers in more than 150 American cities are on strike, demanding $15 an hour. They’re protesting in front of restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell and Wendy’s. One of those workers, Shonda Roberts, tells AJ+ why increasing the hourly wage is so important to her and others.
